MVP Lebron James MVP
I dont want to start gushing on my man Lebron James but he is the MVP for this season. King James.
I think he will end up being a better player than Michael Jordan.
HUGEST call ever, I know it is and I dont want to upset anyone but I'm kinda upsetting myself. I was born in 82 and grew up on Jordan. He was my idol and so many other peoples as well and I have argued with these young kids about how good Jordan was and that he was and always will be the best ever, so it pains me to say it but, I think Lebron will end up being tauted as being "as good if not better than Air Jordan".
MVP Lebron James.
ps I still love you MJ even if you did look a little fat in the face at the Hall Of Fame press conference.
Two in one day but then again its the NBA
Well into the first round of the playoff series and my man Lebron James and the Cavs have sweeped Detroit and killed it in game 4 winning by 20. Anyone see Lebron's windmill in the first quarter. King James dominating with an average of 32 points 11 rebounds and 7 assists for the finals so far. Hero worship? Who me? Nah.... Love you Lebron. MVP
Other notables Chicago tied with Boston after double OT win but no KG so not many hopes for 2 in a row for Boston I think. Yao Ming killing it, Rockets up 3-1 against Portland, Brandon Roy is killer but they wont be good enough. Poor Dikembe Mutombe injured his knee and had too retire. LEGEND. Lakers up 3-1. Wasn't expecting a loss but with Boozer and Deron Williams, Utah still a real good team. A shout out to my man Chris Andersen, tall skinny white guy with tats and bad hair jumping around everywhere. The Birdman.
Dont expect an NBA wrap up often, I just wanted an excuse to brag that I saw Lakers play Hornets in LA at the Staples Centre. Saw all the famous jerseys. Magic Johnson, Worthy, Chamberlain, Elgin Baylor and Kareem Abdul Jabar. Saw Kobe live, I'm hating him less and less. The guy is real good! Saw Gascol aka Joohhnnn Hollow. Second NBA game I have seen, seriously one of the best things I have ever done. Dream come true.
De La Soul
De La Soul last night at Metro's City, this is in Perth of course.
Great set, played some old ones like Saturday and Ring Ring, no Keepin The Faith but, again. Ever been played live? Anyone know? Mylsey?
Cut Chemist supported, bit average I thought, seen him play better before but he did do some killer video scratching thing that I have never seen before.
Camera didn't work last night so first person to send me some pics from Perth De La show gets a free 7th Letter T-Shirt! enquiries@millingtonst.com.au

I have some sneaky pics of the most highly anticipated shoe colab of 2009.
Dunlop X Andrew Gaze X MASH 90210
This shot was taken after our last game which was an ugly but hard fought win!
Heard some guys after the game talking about the kicks. Looks like there going to be a big hit!
Check the Tony drawing on the toes.
Expect a write up in Sneaker FReaker

Our stories may be singular, but our destiny is shared - History in the Making
Wow ok, so the Obama inauguration is tomorrow/tonight, US/our time and it will be one of the most historic moments in history.
I'm not one of those guys who gets into the whole politics thing because I find it so negative and to be honest I try NOT to watch the news because it can be so depressing and that may sound like an ingnorant way of living to alot of you but I like to focus on positive things and people like friends and family.
Anyway from over here in Australia if you had asked me 4 years ago if the US would have a black pres I would have defs said "No Way" and thats not a comment on the US people in anyway but I just couldn't see it happening. I'm fuckin psyched on it, it's awesome!
It feels like maybe there's hope for the world now that there will be a black president. I bet Rosa Parks is partying hard upstairs right now! Hopefully we can take this inspiration into all of our lives and come together abit more as a society.
Sorry if this post was a little deep but I was just listening to Morrissey so......
I'm retarded and forgot some important people!!

2008 Wrap Up
Ok 2008 is OVER. Time for the 2008 wrap up. All the good blogs are doing wrap ups of the year and what was the best colab and the hottest shoe and weirdest materals used and which of the 100 air max's were the best and 1000 dunks was the hottest but I'm not going to do that. I'm gonna run through some of the stuff that affected my life this year. I'll try and do it chronological order.
1. I changed jobs. I left a really cool job with lots of opportunity, good money and great people to go back into retail. Retail with less money, longer hours, retail hours, did I mention retail. What the fuck was I thinking? Thinking like a FOX. Mate I love my new job, really cool people as well and I get to do some buying and really learning how to run a shop again and getting to see things from an owners perspective as well. My dream is to have my own shop one day and this is really good experience.
2. Millington St. The decision was made. Change jobs and get the site going. I knew I wanted to do something for me and I didn't have enough money to open a shop so I started the site. 8 long months later the site is up and i'm psyched. The economic bullshit hasn't helped but its up and 2009 is going to bring some awesome new brands and a couple of sick surprises. Pop up shops will be, well, poping up and an in-house brand will be dropping some sweet designs.
3. MASH SF. Went to Melbourne to see some friends and Jezza showed me the MASH vid and it bugged me for months untill I built my own fixie and nearly died cos I was runnin no brakes. Got the front one on and was lovin it untill some asshole stole it. Wont go on about the fixie thing but I love riding and its good for my fitness.
4. Fully Flared, Epicly Laterd, The Berrics and You Will Soon blog. Skateboarding stuff, I dont skate much anymore but still love watchin it. The choice out there for skate stuff in 2008 was sick. Dont need to say much more than Mariano and Cardiel come backs!!!
5. Johnny Cupcakes. The Hundreds. These guys are good friends so I thought I would put them in together. These two brands have been going from strength to strength and they do it there own way. A lotta inspiration for me starting the site plus The Hundreds blog is so comprehensive on all things streetwear. Both brands really motivate me to do what I want to do.
6. Vans Rebel 8 Colab. Mate this was destined to be. Perfect match I think. What do you want me to say. Vans is my favourite shoe brand at the mo and Mike Giant and Rebel 8 is fucking sick. Perfect.
7. MASH 90210. We got the old bball team up and runnin and with some new faces joining up with the old pros we started to make it rain. When you have played ball with the same guys for 20 years you have a telepathy thing going on and its fun as hell when it works and frustrating when it doesn't. We've got an awesome bunch of guys on the team and I think we need business cards!!!
LAST but NOT LEAST - I GOT MARRIED, single women all over Perth cried there eyes out when they heard about it but on the 16th of November I got married to the love of my life and my best friend. She's always supported me and has really helped out with the site by being an excellent sounding board and putting up with my shit. Cant believe how lucky I am.
I'm sure theres heaps of things I have forgotten and this may seem abit lame that some of these things warrant a mention and I'm sure I will remember lots of stuff later but HEY I' not used to this blog stuff and this is the longest one yet. I wish everyone a safe year ahead and hope your succesful and happy in all that you do.
There will be alot of stuff happening this year with Millington St but be patient cos its just me, my girl, a mannequin with gnarled fingers and a dog who eats all my shit. Some big things are droppin at Millington St in 2009.

Blog complaints and Lazy at the cricket
Yo everyone I know its a long time since my last blog but its Xmas and I'm busy but I am sorry.
Not used to keeping a blog. Got all these blog heads emailin me, telling me that I need to do it daily and keep everyone informed of what I do everyday but I cant always do that cos I'm trying to keep it PG-13 or at least MA-15 so not everything can go in here. But I mean that MASH blog that Gomez did held its own pretty good! We won too!
But anyway onto the cricket. It's cricket time here in Perth, Aus v South Africa, I haven't been but a few friends have, dont know if its finished yet or who's winning or nothing but I'm using the cricket as a good excuse to post this picture of my friend Lazy Boy from when we went to the CRICKET last year.
Hope he likes it!

MASH 90210
So its my first effort at posting a blog and I thought no better way to start than shouting out MASH 90210!!!!
Big game on tomorrow night (Monday) at 6.15 and hopefully they can man up like Bogut did against the Pacers on Satuday night (today Aussie time??).
Bogut hit 20 points and 20 rebounds for only the second time of his career. Mans fuckin sick. I heard Maskface is hittin Milwaukee to see him in March.
But MASH game tomorrow and Mega Happy Friends. I'm callin Kitopher Madrino for the first points with a long tre and hopefully that fat centre of there's, Fred, can make at least 2 freakin baskets for the night!!!
Turned into abit of a Bogut blog so heres a link to Bogut doing air fives and lets see Mash cross the line for a win! http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=JpzmT1kqluc
Shouts too Boo Jam making the move to Melbs. MAke it RAIN!!! Look out fo MASH 90210 business cards and photos soon!
If you check the MASH 90210 pic and you think your funny cos it says the complete first season at the bottom, well it is MASH's first seasonso suck it.
Gomez the Mannequin
Employee Relationships
So we have been having trouble around here with a couple of the employees. The intern Penny and Gomez the mannequin dont get along very well. As a boss one of the most difficult things is keeping the staff happy and productive. Yesterday Penny wasn't productive. Check Gomez' hand, its all chewed up!
Penny is one ruthless bitch. Dont cross her! To make Gomez happy I'm lettin him help with the blog so expect some posts from him. The guys missing the tips of some fingers so I dont know how well he will be typing.

Temple Effectives
So I thought I would throw up some stuff on Temple Effectives. Created to support the underground Hip Hop culture, Temple Effectives originated in 1998 and is based in Southern California.
The highly anticipated success of the brand is the result of talented vision and original design. Starting with a few DJ bags, TE has grown into a full collection of lifestyle apparel including everything from hoodies to denim.
Over the past several years, TE has worked with and supported several artists and individuals such as Ludacris, Sway & Tech, Lil Jon, Q-bert, Pharoah Monche, Living Legends, Shyheim, Fantastik 4our, The Beat Junkies, and The Artist Series & Temple Effectives - Skate Team.
Plus Temple Effectives is my girls favourite brand. Dunno if I'm allowed to have a favourite, I think the boss is meant to be impartial.

Bloc Party
Went to Bloc Party last Sunday here in Perth like a heap of other people.
Woulda been cool if they hadn't released more tickets and kept it at the Ampitheatre and not put us in the parking lot but still a sick gig.
The toilets were real far away from the stage so I just pissed on the fence. I was about 30 metres away from people and no one cared apart fom this one chick who abused me but I just think she was jealous cos she cant go where ever she wants like guys can!
Check Kele rockin a Temple Effctives Biggie T
Shout outs to Thea for making the long drive out there and giving us a lift.
Did anyone see maskface there?
